There are many reasons that Private Pilates classes could be the right option for you. If you are new to Pilates, this is a great way to learn the correct technique and develop a better understanding of your body. Or if you’d simply like to work at your own pace, you can benefit from individual focus and a really personalised plan. Private tuition can also increase your motivation and understanding of Pilates, making it easier to achieve your goals.
“Grace is there with me every second of my movement correcting and checking my posture constantly, making sure all the time that the bespoke exercises are comfortable to my needs.” Helena Game
If you’ve experienced any specific postnatal issues, the one-to-one support of our private classes can be invaluable as you work towards a health, pain-free lifestyle. We have years of experience in working with many conditions, including:
Our private Pilates classes, both face-to-face in St Albans and online, begin with a postural analysis and detailed discussion of your medical history, aims and objectives. Together, we’ll establish your goals and design a personalised programme that will be revisited and adapted regularly to ensure our sessions are beneficial. As well as movement and exercise, we will also discuss nutritional and lifestyle changes that may help you to reach your goals.
You’ll also get access to our online area which contains:
Price – £95 per session
Receive a discount when you book a block of five classes (£450) or ten classes (£800). If you’re interested in private tuition for two or more people, please contact us for prices.
Where do the sessions take place? Private Pilates classes can be held online, or we can visit you in the comfort of your own home. Or, if that doesn’t work for you, we can arrange for you to come to us in St Albans instead.
Can my baby be there? Yes, if needed. We recommend that you try to find childcare or coordinate with nap time (if you have a predictable baby!) so you can get the most out of your class, but we have been known to hold a baby throughout the session too!
What should I wear? As long as you are comfortable and can move easily, it doesn’t matter what you are wearing. You may warm up through the class, so it is worth considering layers that you can remove easily.
Do I need anything for the class? You’ll an exercise mat, water, and several pieces of equipment – a spiky massage ball, a TheraBand and a ‘magic’ fascial release ball, all of which are included in our £25 Equipment Bundle which can be added to your order when you book.
Can I still do the class if my babies aren’t babies anymore?! Yes! We work with postnatal women of all ages and some of our most amazing results come from women whose kids are fully grown! If you haven’t rehabilitated your body then these classes are for you, no matter how old your baby is.
When are you available for private sessions? You can look at our schedule for private sessions here: Or contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org for availability.
How do I book a private class? Just drop us an email, and we can answer any questions you have and let you know our availability.
Do I have to sign up for a block of classes? There’s no set number of classes, but we recommend that you commit to at least five sessions in order to feel and see progress from the classes – plus this way, you qualify for our five-class discount!
