In today’s demanding society, we often hover in a constant state of anxiety – to the point that we don’t even realise it until we stop. And when is the last time you stopped?!

Over the course of our Hertfordshire based Re-Treat Day for mums we will focus on my three key pillars to help bring you back to balance and feeling centred.

In this day of peace and rest, you will learn and practice cutting edge breath work techniques, restorative Pilates, enjoy incredible, nourishing food and have the option to receive deep body work to super charge your body’s systems, bring in balance, relax and reboot the body and mind.

I’m SO excited to be teaming up with local businesses My BackYard Kitchen to provide you with a nourishing lunch and an afternoon superfood snack to leave you feeling energised and refreshed. I can’t wait to eat all of this delicious food, it’s going to be a real highlight!

MOVE

In between the pilates and breath sessions you can enjoy woodland walks in the heart of the beautiful Essendon countryside and there will also be the option to have spa treatments at an additional cost.

Pilates mats, balls, bolsters and blankets are all provided but you are more than welcome to bring your own equipment should you prefer.

What we’ll cover

Total cost for this Hertfordshire Retreat Day is £175 per person with massage as an optional add on

11. 30am Arrival

Arrive at the beautiful Cucumber Fields and enjoy a delicious fresh juice from The Program UK to get you ready for the day ahead.

11.45am –  Pilates class with Grace

A combination of restorative mobilising and release work alongside deep strengthening and functional movement to leave you feeling energised and relaxed.

1 pm – Lunch provided by My Backyard Kitchen (with opportunity for massages as an add on)

Enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by the team at My Backyard Kitchen then choose between relaxing, having a massage and, weather allowing, take some time to walk around and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Cucumber Fields.

2.30pm – Revitalising breath work with Ali Scott

Ali has spent the past 2 decades involved in coaching, therapy and wellbeing, helping clients transform. Ali believes it’s about dealing with unhelpful beliefs, ideas, patterns and conditioning that are holding you back, and ingraining some fundamental basics that ground and nourish body and mind.  

3.00pm – Coaching with Ali Scott

Ali will talk to us about optimising our well being and how to experience a deeper level of freedom and happiness in our lives.

4.00pm Superfood snack

 

4.15 pm – Sound bath with Jess Horn

During the session we’ll find grounding and connection to ourselves through meditation practice and then will end our time together in stillness, allowing the healing vibrations from the crystal sound bath to help us reach deeper levels of rest and relaxation. You’ll be left feeling restored and ready to re-engage with the world!

 

5.15pm Gratitude practice and round up

Guided journaling activity to improve mental health, overall wellbeing and reduce stress.

5.30 pm – Finish
