Bespoke Pilates Classes

Private Pilates classes: Tailored for you to get you the results you need

Whether you have pain, abdominal separation or prolapse, I can help you address your issues in my gorgeous home studio with hands on support and in person feedback.  Spend each session with my undivided attention, personalised feedback and a bespoke home programme to take away and build on our work together. I love supporting women one to one to help them get a deeper understanding and the support that they need to address any physical issues they are facing.

“Grace is there with me every second of my movement correcting and checking my posture constantly, making sure all the time that the bespoke exercises are comfortable to my needs.” Helena Game

If you’ve experienced any specific postnatal issues, the one-to-one support of our private classes can be invaluable as you work towards a health, pain-free lifestyle. We have years of experience in working with many conditions, including:

  • Diastasis recti
  • Pelvic floor dysfunction
  • Pelvic girdle pain
  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Sciatica
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome

Our private Pilates classes, both face-to-face in St Albans and online, begin with a postural analysis and detailed discussion of your medical history, aims and objectives. Together, we’ll establish your goals and design a personalised programme that will be revisited and adapted regularly to ensure our sessions are beneficial. As well as movement and exercise, we will also discuss nutritional and lifestyle changes that may help you to reach your goals.

You’ll also get access to our online area which contains:

  • Fabulous recordings of Zoom interviews with other pre and postnatal experts.
  • An amazing PDF of nutritional and wellness advice.
  • Practice videos of varying lengths, so you can easily fit them into your daily life.

FAQs

Private Pilates classes can be held online, or we can visit you in the comfort of your own home. Or, if that doesn’t work for you, we can arrange for you to come to us in St Albans instead.

Yes, if needed. We recommend that you try to find childcare or coordinate with nap time (if you have a predictable baby!) so you can get the most out of your class, but we have been known to hold a baby throughout the session too!

As long as you are comfortable and can move easily, it doesn’t matter what you are wearing. You may warm up through the class, so it is worth considering layers that you can remove easily.

You’ll an exercise mat, water, and several pieces of equipment – a spiky massage ball, a TheraBand and a ‘magic’ fascial release ball, all of which are included in our £25 Equipment Bundle which can be added to your order when you book.

Yes! We work with postnatal women of all ages and some of our most amazing results come from women whose kids are fully grown! If you haven’t rehabilitated your body then these classes are for you, no matter how old your baby is.

You can look at our schedule for private sessions here: Or contact us directly at hello@centredmums.com for availability.

Just drop us an email, and we can answer any questions you have and let you know our availability.

There’s no set number of classes, but we recommend that you commit to at least five sessions in order to feel and see progress from the classes – plus this way, you qualify for our five-class discount!
