Private classes are a great way to learn the correct technique if you’re just starting out with Pilates, and are perfect for developing a better understanding of your body. They’re also an excellent option if you’ve experienced any specific issues postnatally.

Private Pilates classes are also a good option if you want to work at your own pace and receive more individual tuition, with a really personalised plan to do on your own.

With our private classes, we’ll usually start off with a postural analysis and by talking through your medical history, aims and objectives. Together, we’ll establish goals and design a personalised programme that we can revisit and develop regularly so you get the best from our sessions.

Private tuition can increase motivation and understanding of Pilates and make it easier to achieve your goals.
Individual tuition costs £95 per class, and you get a discount if you book a block of five classes (£450) or ten classes (£800).

Where do the sessions take place?
Private classes can be held online, or we can visit you in the comfort of your own home. Or, if that doesn’t work for you, we can arrange for you to come to Grace’s home in St Albans instead.
Can my baby be there?
Yes, if you want. We recommend that you try to find childcare or coordinate with nap time (if you have a predictable baby!) so you can get the most out of your class, but we have been known to hold a baby throughout the session too!
What should I wear?
Anything that you feel comfortable in! As long as you can move easily it doesn’t matter what you are wearing. Sometimes it is worth bringing layers as you might warm up throughout the class!
Do I need anything for the class?
No, we’ll bring all the equipment you need. Some people prefer to have their own mat but this isn’t essential.
Can I still do the class if my babies aren’t babies anymore?!
Yes! We work with postnatal women of all ages and some of our most amazing results come from women whose kids are all grown up! If you haven’t rehabilitated your body then these classes are for you no matter how old your baby is.
When are you available for private sessions?
Monday afternoons, all day Wednesday and Thursday 11.30am-2pm.
How do I book a private class?

Do I have to sign up for a block of classes?
There’s no set number of classes, but we recommend that you commit to at least five sessions in order to feel and see progress from the classes (plus you get a discount that way!).
