Centred Mums in Motion

Centred Mums in Motion is an online course created due to a huge demand from women wanting to get back to running, HIIT classes, netball or other challenges after pregnancy. Core rehabilitation is vital for all mums, we’ll work on your awareness, co-ordination and ability to adapt to the demands you place on your body.

This is particularly important if you want to do high impact exercise. There is a huge jump in the exertion placed on your body when you switch up from pelvic floor exercises to going for a run. Pilates for runners can make a real difference to the way your muscles react to the stress and increased impact.

This course is designed for:

Anyone who has given birth, remember once postnatal, always postnatal!

This course is for you if:

  • You’ve ever had a baby – whether that baby is six weeks or 26 years old.
  • You want to improve your body confidence.
  • You want to improve your pelvic floor and abdominal function.
  • You’re looking to do high impact exercise.
  • You’re already doing high impact exercise but know your core needs to do more!
  • You feel like you need to reconnect with your core.
  • You would like to try Pilates for incontinence exercises or Pilates for urine control.

You can work through this programme at your own pace. It’s suitable for people at any level of fitness and every size or shape.

This course covers:

The Centred Mums in Motion course includes:

  • A full detailed screening – and referral process if necessary.
  • A foundations module to clarify knowledge that every woman should have about her body – including exercises to improve your breathing strategy, posture and alignment, and information about abdominal separation and pelvic floor dysfunction.
  • Nutrition module explaining how your nutrition can help you to get the most out of your exercise programme.
  • 6 exercise modules starting with basic core rehab and building up to loading, adding impact and good exercises to do alongside your high impact work.
  • A weekly coaching call with an exercise of the week and educational info.
  • Access to MemberVault where you’ll find step-by-step exercise videos and longer pre-recorded classes.
  • Access to video recordings with a life coach and women’s health physio to give you greater insight into your body and how to care for yourself.
  • Bonus relaxation download.
  • Access to our private Facebook group where you’ll find support and guidance from us and other members.
  • Better body awareness to give you autonomy over what exercise works for you and what doesn’t. This will help you to use your body better for the rest of your life!

If you’re new to the classes, you may also need our £25 Equipment Bundle, which includes an overball, spiky massage ball, fascial release ball and TheraBand, this can be added when booking.
